(a) No corporation formed under this part for the sole purpose of operating a single ridesharing vanpool vehicle designed for transporting at least seven persons, including the driver, under an arrangement in which ridesharing is incidental to another purpose of the driver shall be subject to the payment of any fee under provisions of the Government Code for any filing required by this part.
(b) For purposes of this section, “ridesharing” shall have the meaning specified in Section 522 of the Vehicle Code.
